Germantown United Community Development Corporation has won a $160,000 grant to help restore two African-American historic sites.
The organization is one of 11 winners of the Partners of Preservation: Main Streets campaign.
The winning historic sites, determined by popular vote, will receive a total of $2 million in grants to fund their respective preservation projects.
The work on the respective projects should begin by next summer.
